Privacy Policy

This policy covers lankfordroofing.com, the website of Lankford Roofing & Construction LLC ("Lankford Roofing", "we", "us"). It describes what this site actually collects, where that information goes, and what you can do about it. It does not cover information you give us in person, on a job site, or in a signed contract.

Information you give us

The only place this website asks for your information is the free estimate form on our contact page. When you submit it, we receive:

• Your name and phone number (both required)
• Your email address, if you enter one
• The type of work you selected, such as roof replacement or storm damage
• The property address or city you enter
• Anything you write in the message box

We do not take payments on this website, so we never receive card or bank details here. We do not ask for a date of birth, a social security number, or insurance policy numbers through this site. If you apply for financing, that application happens on Service Finance Company's own website, not ours (see "Leaving this website" below).

Information this website records automatically

Along with what you type, the estimate form sends us a short technical record of how you reached us. This matters and we would rather be plain about it than bury it:

• Advertising click identifiers. When you arrive from a paid ad, the ad platform adds a tracking code to the web address. We store it and send it with your enquiry. The ones we capture are gclid, gbraid and wbraid (Google Ads), fbclid (Facebook and Instagram ads) and msclkid (Microsoft Ads). Their purpose is to let the advertising platform match your enquiry back to the ad you clicked, so we can see which ads actually produce work. The code identifies a click, not you by name, but once it is attached to your enquiry we treat it as part of your personal information.
• Campaign tags. The utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign and utm_content values that tell us which campaign or link you came from.
• The first page you landed on and the website that referred you, if there was one.

Because a visitor can land on any page and fill in the form later, we store these values in a cookie on your own browser for 90 days so they survive the walk from a landing page to the contact form. See "Cookies" below for the exact cookie names.

Our hosting provider also keeps standard technical logs of requests to the site, which include your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. Those logs exist for security and reliability, not marketing.

How we use it

• To contact you about your estimate request, by phone, text, or email
• To quote, schedule, and carry out the roofing work you asked about
• To keep a record of the enquiry so we can pick up where we left off if you call back later
• To measure which pages and which advertising campaigns produce genuine enquiries
• To block spam and automated form submissions
• To meet legal, tax, or insurance obligations

We do not sell your information. We do not rent or trade contact lists. We do not use your enquiry to build advertising audiences for other companies.

Where your enquiry goes

When you submit the form, it is checked for spam and then emailed to Lankford Roofing's customer service inbox. A copy is also sent to our website and marketing provider, Online Optimisers Digital LLC, who keep it as a record that the form is working and that leads are arriving. That email is delivered by Resend, an email delivery service, sending from our own send.lankfordroofing.com address.

If you gave us an email address, an automatic confirmation email is sent back to you at the same time so you know the request arrived. That confirmation is the only automatic message this website sends you: the site does not run a mailing list, does not add you to a newsletter, and does not send marketing text messages.

Your enquiry may then be entered into the systems we use to run jobs day to day, such as our customer records, scheduling, and estimating tools, and shared with the crew and suppliers involved in your specific job. It is not shared with anyone who does not need it to quote or complete your work.

Analytics and advertising tools on this site

These are the third-party tools running on lankfordroofing.com, and what each one does:

• Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-499FT8NMZE). Records page views, how you move through the site, taps on our phone numbers, and successful form submissions. It is configured to measure site usage, not to identify you personally.
• Google Ads conversion tracking (account AW-16625949757). Fires when an estimate form is successfully submitted, so Google can report which ad produced the enquiry.
• Cloudflare Turnstile. The verification box on the contact form. It looks at signals from your browser to tell a person from a bot. Cloudflare processes that check on our behalf.
• Cloudflare Pages. Hosts this website and runs the small program that receives the form.
• Trustindex. Loads our live Google review summary on the home page, so the star rating and count you see are the real current ones.

There is no Facebook or Meta tracking pixel on this website, and no advertising retargeting tag. The Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn icons in our footer are ordinary links to our profiles, not trackers. We capture the Facebook click identifier described above only because a visitor may arrive from a Facebook or Instagram ad.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This site uses:

• Attribution cookies, named oo_gclid, oo_gbraid, oo_wbraid, oo_fbclid, oo_msclkid, oo_utm_source, oo_utm_medium, oo_utm_campaign and oo_utm_content. Set only when one of those values is present in the web address you arrive on, and kept for 90 days. These are our own cookies, not a third party's.
• Google Analytics cookies, whose names begin _ga. Used to recognise a returning browser and count visits rather than raw page loads.
• Cloudflare cookies set as part of security and bot protection when you use the contact form.
• Session storage, which holds the first page of your visit until you close the tab. It is not a cookie and is not sent anywhere except with a form you submit.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, but the form may lose the record of which ad or campaign brought you here.

Leaving this website

Some links take you to companies we do not control, and their own privacy policies apply once you arrive. The main ones are Service Finance Company, LLC for roof financing applications, Google for reviews and directions, and our Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn pages.

How long we keep it

Estimate requests and the emails carrying them are kept for as long as we need them to answer you, quote the work, and deal with anything that follows from it, and are deleted once that purpose has passed. Records tied to work we actually carried out are kept longer where we need them for warranty, insurance, tax, or legal reasons. Website analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics retention setting, currently 2 months for event level records and 14 months for user level records, after which Google deletes the detailed records.

Your choices

• Ask us what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is wrong
• Ask us to delete your enquiry, unless we need to keep it for work we carried out or for a legal reason
• Ask us to stop contacting you, at any time
• Block or delete cookies in your browser, and use Google's own advertising and analytics controls to limit what Google collects across websites

To make any of these requests, email [email protected] or call us on the numbers below. We may need to check a couple of details to make sure we are talking to the right person before we act on a request.

Security

Form submissions travel over an encrypted connection, are checked for automated abuse before they reach anyone, and are sent to a small number of named work inboxes. No website can promise perfect security, and we do not claim to, but we keep the number of places your information lands as small as the job allows.

Children

This website is for property owners and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you think a child has sent us information through this site, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change what the website collects or which tools it uses, we update this page and change the effective date at the top. The version on this page is always the current one.
