Owens Corning Duration Roof in Black Sable, Plus New Gutters, in Denison, TX

This is a real Lankford job in Denison, photographed on completion. The crew's own note: a new Black Sable Owens Corning Duration roof and new gutters, and the same again on the owner's rental house.

Both roofs had been, in the owner's own words, beaten to a pulp by the hailstorm in early 2023.

Doing an owner's home and their rental property together is more common here than people expect, because hail does not pick one address. It also changes how the work is planned: two sets of access, two schedules, and an insurance conversation that covers both.

The advantage is that the same crew, the same material and the same install standard end up on both roofs, instead of two contractors and two stories about what went wrong later.

The gutters went on with the roof rather than afterwards. That matters more than it sounds. New gutters hung onto an old fascia, or old gutters left under a new drip edge, are where water finds its way behind the system and undoes a good roof.

The shingle is Owens Corning Duration in Black Sable, fitted as part of our standard roof replacement build, with guttering quoted in the same visit.

The photographs below are the finished property. From the owner's five-star review:

"I own my home and a rent house in Denison TX and, like everyone else, my roofs were beat to a pulp by the hailstorm back in early 2023. I wasn't worried about it one bit though because I had Lankford Roofing already saved in my phone's contacts."
